IFS Fast Sealing Material

Material Profile

With selection, matching, and performance optimization of material components, IFS Fast Sealing Materials, composed of cement and a small amount of micro-components (retarders and hardening accelerators), are processed into powdery inorganic cementing materials for water-proofing, seepage-proofing and leaking stoppage. The operative norm is in accordance with GB 23440-2009 “Inorganic Water-proofing Sealing Materials”.

Performance Feature

1. Rapid setting and hardening, instant waterstop, high strength per hour, and sustained growing long-term strength.

2. With the water mixed, the product featuring with powdery appearance, nontoxic and harmlessness properties is easy to apply.

Application Field

1. Urgent repair and reinforcement;

2. Leaking stoppage in presence of water and water seepage surface construction;

3. It is applied to pressure grouting after grout nipple is embedded and crack surface is filled using sealant and caulking of wrapped shaped steel construction, which are featured with fast solidification and firm bonding;   

4.Rapid rehabilitation for concrete surface defect (Bonded steel reinforcement or bonded carbon fiber sheet reinforcement are applied to rapid leveling for concrete surface).

 

Construction Technology

Substrate treatment→interface wetting→sealing material mixing→sealing→grouting→curing

 

Material Consumption

1. Ratio of water to material: 0.25～0.28

2. IFS dry powder consumption: 16 kg/m²·cm thickness

 

Package and Storage

The product boasts its hydraulic powder material with compound bag package (50 kg NT). Attention should be paid to resistance against moisture and water when it is stored. And its valid shelf life lasts for 6 months in the dry and sealed condition.
