Product Profile

Self-locking anchorage technology has been the original works by Prof. Zhou Jianbo. JUCHENG STRUCTURE has applied for its patent since 1999 and worked with Wuhan University to develop a package of technologies and products. The research team composed of Prof. Zhou Jianbo, Prof. Gao Zuoping and Prof. Chen Mingxiang has taken 20-year sustained efforts on R&D. Currently, the patents applied for self-locking anchorage technologies and products by JUCHENG STRUCTURE add up to 100 plus.
 
 
The core of JCZ Jucheng Zhou’s self-locking anchorage technology lies in counterbore self-locking anchor rod. Its construction technology and anchorage principle have been shown below: The bottom of drilled straight hole on the substrate (rock or concrete) will be expanded into conical surface and inverted one with tailored counterbore bit, then insert the end of anchor rod installed with intact anchor head to the bottom of hole. The axial pressing forces the anchor head to open itself and stays close to conical surface at the bottom of hole. The mechanical bite force between anchor head and hole wall (that is, "self-locking") and the frictional resistance after injecting adhesive (grout) to anchorage sections will be applied to provide anchorage force.
 
 
The anchoring body will be connected to the substrate as a whole by using counterbore self-locking anchor rods, which will give full play to great anchoring force, length reduction at the anchoring section, and reliable anchorage. Compared to chemically planted bars, self-locking anchoring rod boasts its excellent durability, high temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance. Over the past two decades, millions of counterbore self-locking anchoring rods have been applied to architectural rehabilitation and reinforcement, anti-floating for underground construction, abutment anchoring, rail anchoring, hydraulic structure and wind power project in an effort to enhance structure safety, reduce construction period, provide disaster relief and emergency rescue and save the investment for sound social and economic benefits, which are expected to replace chemically planted bars both home and abroad and contribute to revolutionary advances in the architecture rehabilitation!

Note: 1. This table is applicable to the C30 concrete substrate, and concrete of any other strength can be calculated according to the relevant formula in “Technical Specification for Rock and Concrete Self-locking Anchorage (DB42/ T-2018)”.

  2. The anchor rod material in this table shall meet the performance index of 5.8 grade steel.

  3. For anchor rods that are required to meet the design length of relevant standards, regulations and specifications, they shall be customized in advance.
